New hires are keyed into recruiting, HR, payroll, benefits, and scheduling separately.
Move clean workforce data into and out of UKG Ready.
We build controlled integrations around the employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through time, payroll, benefits, accounting, and reporting.
Usually, the warning signs look like this.
Payroll journals require manual reformatting before they can reach accounting.
Benefit elections and payroll deductions drift out of alignment.
After payroll finalizes, staff identify locations receiving physical checks, count the checks, and prepare FedEx labels by hand.
Built around the real handoffs.
This is the common shape—not a prepackaged connector. During feasibility, we confirm the actual access, rules, volumes, exceptions, and definition of done.
Trigger
Start from a hiring event, approved payroll, time entry, benefit change, or scheduled extract.
Validate
Check required fields, identifiers, dates, pay rules, and cross-system dependencies before writing.
Transform
Map the source data into the format and codes expected by UKG Ready or the receiving system.
Deliver + reconcile
Submit the record, capture the response, and surface only the exceptions that need review.
Prepare location-level check shipments automatically.
UKG Ready → location + shipping defaults → carrier → label printer- Before
- A payroll team reviews the finalized run, finds every location receiving physical checks, counts the checks for each destination, chooses the carrier and shipping speed, and creates the labels manually.
- What we build
- The integration reads the finalized payroll, groups physical checks by location, excludes locations with zero checks, applies the location’s configured default carrier and shipping speed, creates the eligible shipments, adds the location and check count to each label, and sends the labels to the designated printer.
- Acceptance result
- Every location with checks receives the correct label, check count, default carrier, and shipping speed; zero-check locations produce no shipment; missing addresses or shipping defaults become visible exceptions instead of incorrect labels.
Use the access that exists.

Your infrastructure or ours.
Most automations need a secure backend to run APIs, scheduled jobs, queues, data stores, retries, and monitoring. We deploy that structure where it makes the most operational sense.
The questions people ask first.
Short answers to what usually comes up before a scoping conversation. If yours is not here, ask us directly — the intro call is free.
- Does UKG Ready support the integration we need?
- UKG Ready exposes APIs, scheduled reports, and secure file transfer, but what is available to you depends on your edition, your configured permissions, and the specific objects involved. We confirm read and write access for your exact records before quoting anything.
- Can you post the UKG payroll journal into our accounting system?
- That is one of the most common builds: transform the approved payroll detail into your chart-of-accounts structure and post a balanced journal to the correct period, with unmapped codes raising an exception rather than defaulting silently into a catch-all account.
- Can you connect recruiting or onboarding into UKG Ready?
- Yes — a hiring event can validate the required fields, create the employee record, and route exceptions to the right person before payroll setup stalls. Workstream to UKG Ready is a pattern we have built the operating path for.
- What about physical payroll checks and shipping labels?
- After a payroll finalizes, the integration can group physical checks by location, exclude zero-check locations, apply each location's configured carrier and shipping speed, create the shipments, and print labels showing the location and check count. Missing addresses or shipping defaults become visible exceptions instead of wrong labels.
- Do we need UKG's professional services to do this?
- Not necessarily, but some vendors require partner registration or written authorization before a third party connects on your behalf. That is one of the first questions we tell clients to put to their vendor in writing.
